Listing rules

1. What this map is

This map is a list of braiders, shown by city. Every braider on it asked to be listed, and Olga Olikova looked at her public profile and her work samples before the pin appeared. Where a card shows a date next to "Listed on" or "Checked on", that is the day we looked.

A listing says one thing, and it is a fact about us, not a promise about anyone else: on that date, that profile met the criteria in section 3. Techniques, languages and work with children are self-declared, which means the braider told us and we published what she said.

2. What this map is not

A listing is not a promise about quality, not a rating, not an endorsement, and it does not mean we issued anyone a document. We are not a booking service and not an agency. We do not take appointments, we do not set prices and we do not pass your details to anyone.

You choose your braider yourself. The work is arranged between you and her, and Dream braids s.r.o. is not a party to that arrangement.

3. Listing criteria

There are three, and they are the whole list.

1. A public Instagram profile run as a service, with a way to contact the braider or a service named in the bio.

2. A most recent post no older than 30 days on the day we check.

3. Work samples that Olga Olikova looks at herself, against the tension and hair-health points on our Safe braiding page.

Being listed is free. Buying a course from us is not one of the criteria and it is not a shortcut. Braiders who have never studied with Olga Olikova are listed on exactly the same terms.

4. How we check, and what we do not check

The check happens once, on the day we add the pin, and it is done from public sources: the Instagram profile and the links the braider sends us. We keep a note of who looked and when, and a copy of the profile as it looked that day.

Here is what we do not do, stated plainly so nobody has to guess. We do not watch the braider work, in person or on video. We do not check qualifications, diplomas, licences, insurance or hygiene permits. We do not check prices, availability or how she treats her clients. We do not re-check a profile on a schedule, so a pin can be older than the work behind it.

5. Who is not listed

We do not add a profile that is private, that has no work samples of the braider's own work, that has not posted in the last 30 days, or that we could not check because the links did not open. We also do not add a profile that we cannot tell apart from a shared or reposted portfolio.

This is not a judgement about anyone's work. It only means the profile did not meet the criteria on the day we looked, and a braider is welcome to apply again once it does.

The next two sections are the legal part, and in short they say this: we are not your agency, and we do not stand behind anyone's work.

6. The relationship between you, the braider and us

There is no employment, agency, partnership, franchise or joint venture between Dream braids s.r.o. and any braider on this map. Nobody on this map works for us, and nobody on this map speaks for us.

If you book a braider you found here, the contract for that service is between you and her, directly. We are not a party to it, we do not receive any commission, fee or share of what you pay, and we have no say in what is agreed.

7. No warranty, and the limit of our responsibility

We give no warranty about the work, conduct, availability, pricing or legal standing of any braider on this map. The information on a card comes from the braider herself and from what was publicly visible on the day we checked, and it can be out of date by the time you read it.

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, Dream braids s.r.o. is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from a service you arrange with a braider you found through this map. Nothing here removes any right you have under mandatory consumer law, and if any part of this section cannot apply where you live, the rest still stands.

8. Complaints

If something went wrong with a braider from this map, tell us. Instagram @oobraider.pro is the fastest way, and [email protected] works too. Send us the braider's name and city, the date, and what happened. A photo helps but is not required.

We confirm that your message reached us within five working days, we decide within 30 days, and we tell the braider what was said about her so she can answer. A complaint moves faster than an application on purpose, and if what you describe is serious we take the listing off the map while we look into it, so you are not waiting on our decision for your safety. We are not able to settle a dispute between you and her, and we cannot get your money back for you. What we can do is decide whether the listing stays, and section 9 says on what grounds.

9. Removal from the map

There are three reasons a braider is removed, and no others.

1. The profile no longer meets the listing criteria: it went private, it went quiet for longer than the criteria allow, or it no longer exists.

2. Repeated complaints about her work that we were able to confirm, and to which the braider did not respond after we asked her.

3. The braider asked to be removed.

Whenever we remove a listing we tell the braider which of these three reasons applied. Disagreeing with us, with Olga Olikova or with this project publicly is not a reason and never will be.

10. Asking to be removed yourself

Write to us on Instagram @oobraider.pro or to [email protected] from the address you applied with, and say that you want the listing taken down. You do not have to give a reason and we will not ask for one. The pin disappears from the map within minutes of us making the change, and what happens to the record we keep is described in our Privacy notice.

11. Data we publish

For each braider we publish her name, her city and country, her Instagram handle, any further link she gave us, the techniques and languages she declared herself, whether she braids children, and the date she was listed. Nothing else.

We never publish a street address. The city is the default location on this map, and that is deliberate: many braiders work from home, and their home address is not ours to hand out. A street address appears only if the braider has entered one herself. If you add one, use the place where you meet clients, not your home. Coordinates on the map point to the centre of the city, not to a person.

12. Photos and copyright

Photographs of braiding work belong to the person who made them and, often, show a client who agreed to appear on one profile and nowhere else. We do not copy them from anyone's profile. The gallery on the front page holds only photos that braiders sent us themselves, with a separate consent confirming that the photo is hers to share and that anyone recognisable in it agreed to appear in public. A braider can have her photos taken down at any time without anything else about her listing changing. If you find your photo used here anyway, write to us on Instagram @oobraider.pro or to [email protected] and it comes down.

13. Governing law

These rules and the operation of this map are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, and disputes with us belong to the courts of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

14. Who runs this map

This map is run by Dream braids s.r.o., Muskatova 702/2B, 902 01 Vinosady, Slovakia, company ID 53931114, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert 154314/B. The company belongs to Olga Olikova, braider, winner of the OneShot Hair Awards in the Intricate Braids and Twists category in 2023 and again in 2025, and author of two books, one on braiding and one on social media.

15. Version of these rules

This version is dated 15 October 2026. When we change these rules we change this date, and material changes are announced by e-mail to every braider currently listed.
