How the map works

We list braiders for free if they use techniques that are safe for hair and keep an active, professional work profile on social media, where they keep adding their own new work.

We are not responsible for the work of the braiders on the map, but we take complaints about them and deal with each one as the Listing rules describe.

A braider adds herself using the application form. Her card shows Review pending until we've checked it.

When we take a braider off the map

1

Her profile no longer meets the listing criteria: it is out of date, inactive, or it is no longer clear that she is taking clients.

2

We receive several confirmed complaints about the quality of her work, and she does not respond or put things right.

We always tell the braider why.

Add yourself to the map

We are building this map city by city, and you can be on it. Being listed is free, the criteria are the same for everyone, and you do not have to have studied with us.
